Quite rightly seen as a benchmark for well aged Sherry Cask matured whisky. Most distilleries scaled back production in the 1970's and 80's, but the Grant family had the foresight to keep the stills running. As a result, they have access to some of the best stocks of old whisky in the business, and are able to offer them at jaw droppingly reasonable prices.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany-copper hues and a ruby glow.
Nose
Complex yet refined, it unfolds with marmalade, honey, and freshly ground coffee, intertwined with sherry and nuts, and a whisper of oaky tannins.
Palate
Full-bodied and robust on the palate, sherry and oak lock horns in a balanced duel—neither overpowering the other. Rich notes of dried fruit, dark chocolate, coffee and spice glide through a velvety, substantial texture.
Finish
Intense and long, dry and malty, with sherry oak lingering on the palate. A luxurious dark chocolate note lingers at the back of the mouth, completing this refined 25-year-old whisky.
