This whisky started life on the slopes of Ben Rinnes, where the spring water (which ensures the distinct flavour of Glenfarclas Highland single malt whisky) bubbles up, crystal clear, from the underlying granite supplying the distillery below. Combined with the best malted barley, twice distilled in a traditional, direct fired, copper pot still and filled into the finest Spanish Sherry oak casks in which to lie maturing over 35 years in their famously cool dunnage warehouses.

Colour
Deep amber with burnished copper edges and a wine-warm glow, rich with sherry-cask radiance.
Nose
Roasted almonds, dried dark fruits and creamy toffee rise from the glass, weaving a warm, inviting nose with subtle nutty richness and velvety sweetness.
Palate
Sherried fruit, dark chocolate and raisins unfold across the palate in a velvety, luxurious tapestry. Rich, cocoa-dusted sweetness frames dried fruit depth, with hints of spice and a long, warming finish that lingers with refined elegance.
Finish
A lingering aftertaste of cinnamon and cocoa powder creating a warm decadent finish.
