Tasting Notes

Colour

Dark, burnished amber with mahogany edges and a coppery glow.

Nose

Fresh sweetness and a fruity Turkish delight aroma rise from the glass, bright and inviting. Its freshness and power evoke the first whiff of a bag of freshly ground java coffee beans, adding a vivid, caffeinated lift to the nose.

Palate

Sweet on the palate, followed by a peppering of caramel and chocolate explosions, as sherry power creeps to the back of the mouth, releasing dark chocolate, raisins and sultanas.

Finish

Sweet, crisp and dry, with a long, lingering finish that carries sherry-tinged warmth and echoes of dark chocolate, raisins and sultanas.
