The 2020 Editon of Longrow 18 Year Old, Springbank distillery's heavily peated variant. This particular bottling has been matured in a combination of Sherry, Bourbon and (rather interestingly) Rum casks, which is a slight departure from the norm.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and mahogany edges, a rich, wine-kissed glow.
Nose
Rum-soaked strawberries lead the aroma, kissed by delicate peat smoke. Emerging notes of pineapple, mango and lemon sherbet brighten the bouquet.
Palate
A lovely burst of sweetness and smoke, like marshmallows toasting on peat embers. Rich flavours of sea salt, dark chocolate, raisins, prunes and molasses.
Finish
A bold, peated malt finish that lingers like standing inside a kiln with embers still warm. Licorice notes weave through a salt-kissed coastal edge, revealing Springbank’s unmistakable maritime signature.
