Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a touch of mahogany, glowing with burnished-gold warmth.
Nose
Rich, inviting and sherried, the nose opens with sun-dried figs and raisins, orange zest and toffee from first-fill Bourbon. Vanilla bean, cocoa and almond entwine, while a subtle peat glow and coastal hints lift the aroma. Warm spice and polished oak weave through a caramel-dusted sweetness, hinting at depth and the indulgent balance of sherry and bourbon casks.
Palate
Silky and deeply fruity on the palate, this lightly peated Highland dram marries Oloroso Sherry richness with Bourbon sweetness. Notes of dried figs and raisins, orange zest, toffee and dark chocolate unfold, wrapped in warm vanilla and oak. Subtle spice and a gentle peat kiss build to a long, luxurious finish with notable depth.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish where sherry depth meets bourbon sweetness. Dried fruit, treacle and vanilla intertwine with spice and a subtle peat, fading into warm oak and toasted nuts. The sweetness lingers, refined and balanced, leaving a soft, honeyed impression.
