Crafted from spirit matured in a combination of wonderfully sweet Oloroso sherry butts and ex-bourbon quarter casks it is a shade over seven years old. This hand-selected cask pairing has done an astonishing job of producing a smooth and rounded single malt whisky – and to maximise the flavour Wolfburn have bottled it at cask strength.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with coppery warmth and a hint of mahogany.
Nose
Fresh bourbon aromas softened by sweet sherry, with delicate hints of toffee and caramel.
Palate
Chocolate truffles meet sticky toffee pudding and trifle sponge, crafting a sumptuous, dessert-rich palate. Rich cacao and toffee mingle with sponge cake sweetness, threaded by a gentle peat smoke that lingers through a warm, cask-strength finish.
Finish
Caramel sweetness lingers, with delicate notes of toffee and demerara sugar. A trace of peat smoke remains to the very end, weaving a beautifully long, indulgent finish.
