Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery gilt and honeyed gold highlights, a warm mahogany-tinged glow.
Nose
Vanilla-forward bourbon sweetness leads, with honey and toffee over creamy malt. Madeira finish lends dried fig, raisin and orange marmalade, plus almond, cocoa and a hint of spice. A warm, polished, inviting aroma that is rich yet approachable.
Palate
Silky and inviting on the palate, with warm vanilla, toffee and creamy oak from the bourbon cask. Madeira finishing adds depth: raisin, fig and dried apricot mingle with orange zest and almond. A rounded sweetness covers the middle, balanced by gentle spice and a soft, honeyed finish that lingers with comforting warmth.
Finish
Long, velvety finish of vanilla, toffee and warm spice, with Madeira-imparted fruit notes—raisin, dried plum and fig—lingering beside soft oak. The bourbon backbone lends warmth, leaving a silky sweetness that fades to an elegant, easy-going conclusion.
