This is the second release from Wolfburn's Small Batch Series. A vatting of whiskies matured in half-sized, first fill Bourbon casks. The use of small, fresh casks has resulted in a whisky that is remarkably mature, rich and complex for its age. Unlike the first release, this whisky is unpeated, allowing the delicious sweet vanilla character to come to the fore.

Colour
Golden amber with honeyed warmth and sunlit bronze highlights.
Nose
Luxurious and sweet, the nose opens with creamy vanilla and honeyed oak, layered with vanilla custard and toffee. Orchard fruit—apple and pear—adds lift, while soft spice and gentle malt bring warmth. A hint of coconut mingles with toasted oak, lingering in an inviting, fragrant profile that speaks to this unpeated Highland dram.
Palate
Silky and sweet, vanilla custard and honeyed orchard fruit lead to creamy caramel and toffee. Small Bourbon cask influence brings warm spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—while oak sits neatly in the background. Rich, mature and gently oaked, it finishes with a lasting vanilla glow and a clean, lightly spiced finale.
Finish
Silky, vanilla-forward finish with creamy toffee and orchard fruit, carried by soft oak. A gentle spice warms the palate, slowly fading into a long, refined glow of toasted oak and caramel.
