The 7th release in the Longrow Red series.
This edition is an 11 year old heavily peated malt that has been finished for 3 years in first fill New Zealand Pinot Noir wine barrels.
A slight departure from the previous release of a Pinot Longrow, edition number 4, which was finished for a year in fresh Burgundy casks, Expect a lovely mix of fresh berry fruit, earthiness and smoke.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery sheen and a subtle ruby glow.
Nose
Creamy red apples mingle with a homemade rhubarb crumble and a bouquet of confectionary sweetness, with red liquorice and maraschino cherries lending candy-like depth.
Palate
Delicate, soft and smooth, with a perfect balance of Pinot Noir influence and Longrow. Red fruits—raspberry jam and cranberry—give way to burnt embers and tobacco leaf, with subtle smoke lingering.
Finish
Creamy and smoky, with a lingering echo of sultanas and a subtle nutty note, leaving a soft ember warmth that slowly fades.
