Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a mahogany glow.
Nose
Bold peat smoke, maritime brine and iodine rise from the glass, framed by sweet vanilla, caramelized toffee and a touch of cocoa. Underneath, dried fruit and leather add depth, while a whisper of citrus zest keeps it buoyant.
Palate
Oily and full‑bodied, the palate carries bold peat smoke that clings to the tongue, salted caramel and dark chocolate weaving with brine and iodine. Leather, espresso and a touch of vanilla add warmth, while the finish is long, dry and ash‑tinged, with a maritime glow and smoky resolve.
Finish
Long, maritime finish of peat smoke and brine, slowly giving way to vanilla and toffee sweetness. Leather and cocoa deepen the profile, with a final iodine kiss and a warm, smoky ember that lingers gracefully.
