Lagavulin 2015 Jazz Festival Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Out of stock
The 2015 Jazz festival edition Lagavulin, matured in a combination of refill American oak casks and European seasoned sherry casks. Bottled at the nice and strong 55.4% abv and a release of just 3500 bottles.
A really lovely complex nose of smoke, cured meats, sweet creamy oak and chewy nuttiness. The palate is full and round with a salted caramel toffee sweetness, dried raisined fruit and caramelised apple note to it. The finish is a little fresher with a maritime hint to it (not unlike the cask strength 12) with nut and spice to end.
