Peat-driven and maritime, this Lagavulin floods the palate with smoke and iodine, tempered by sherry sweetness. Dark chocolate, fig, and caramel mingle with resinous oak, while sea-salt and pepper lift the mid-palate. The 57.8% ABV delivers a searing warmth that lingers into a long, ash-tinged finish.

Finish

Long, peated finish with coastal iodine and embered smoke. Rich sherry notes cloak dried fig and dark chocolate over toasted oak, while peppery spice and mineral salt carve a refined, lingering warmth. It fades to a resinous, tobacco-like smokiness with a final kiss of sea air.
