Colour

Deep amber with coppery highlights and a burnished gold edge.

Nose

Sweet caramel and butterscotch lead the nose, with nougat and cooked coconut, subtle fruity hints, and a kiss of candied spices.

Palate

Rich and indulgent on the palate, this whisky unfolds with crème caramel and oatmeal sweetness, balanced by poached pear. Cocoa powder adds depth, while nutmeg and white pepper lift the finish, leaving a warm, slightly spicy tail that lingers lightly on the tongue.

Finish

Spicy and peppery, a warming finish cloaks the palate in cedar and a waxy texture, while spiced fruits and candied peels linger, inviting the next sip.

(glen-AL-a-key) Built in 1967 near Aberlour, it spent much of its life producing whisky for blends rather than building a big name as a single malt in its own right. That changed in 2017, when Billy Walker, Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson bought the distillery and began reshaping it around a more flavour-led, hands-on vision.
