Bottled by Signatory Vintage for the Symington’s Choice range, this GlenAllachie was distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2026 at 21 years old. Matured in a single Oloroso sherry cask and bottled at a natural strength of 63.1% ABV, it is the kind of release where both long maturation and active sherry influence take centre stage.
That Oloroso cask brings plenty of depth and weight to the whisky, layering dried fruit, dark chocolate and warming spice over GlenAllachie’s naturally rich Speyside character.

Nose
Raisins, dark chocolate, orange peel and polished oak, with cinnamon and rich brown sugar.
Palate
Full and concentrated, with notes of dried fruit, treacle, cocoa, roasted nuts and seasoned sherried oak.
Finish
Long and warming, with lingering spice, dark fruit and a gently bitter chocolate note.
