The GlenAllachie 21-year-old Cask Strength. Driven by his passion for wood management, Master Blender Billy Walker crafted this latest release using the finest Spanish Sherry Wood.
After hand-selecting Vintages that were slumbering in their 16 on-site warehouses, Walker implemented his superlative blending skills to deliver this indulgent expression. The culmination of Pedro Ximénez puncheons and hogsheads offers a complex Single Malt full of mocha, sticky raisins and ginger biscuits which perfectly complements the honeyed charm of the GlenAllachie spirit.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery warmth and mahogany undertones; a sunset-hued glow that speaks of sherry influence and honeyed richness.
Nose
Waves of black grapes and raisins mingle with dark chocolate orange, while coffee tones, stewed fruits and treacle syrup lend a lush, dessert-like aroma that hints at the depth to come.
Palate
Lashings of heather honey mingle with cocoa-dusted truffles and sultanas, followed by bursts of espresso, mixed currants and brandy butter, with gingersnaps on the finish.
Finish
Long, warming and richly spiced, the finish lingers with espresso and cocoa dust, then settles into chewy sultanas, brandy butter and gingersnaps, leaving a honeyed, PX-influenced glow.
