A release of just 121 bottles. This single cask Glenallachie was matured in a refill American Hogshead for 28 years.

A yeasty and buttery nose, full with quite tropical flavours of pineapple and banana. The palate is almost chewy in character with cedar, leather, oaky spice and brown sugar. The finish is a touch sweet with more spice and a slight earthiness.

(glen-AL-a-key) Built in 1967 near Aberlour, it spent much of its life producing whisky for blends rather than building a big name as a single malt in its own right. That changed in 2017, when Billy Walker, Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson bought the distillery and began reshaping it around a more flavour-led, hands-on vision.
