The oldest release in the first batch of new Glenallachie single casks, thus one comes in at a healthy 29 years old and is from a single sherry butt and produced just 529 bottles.
Pears and custard, dark chocolate and oaky spice on the nose. The palate shows flavours of malt, biscuits, honey and pastry, with a little sweet spice as well. The finish is medium and full bodied with tangerine, wax and cocoa.
