Tasting Notes
Colour
Natural amber with coppery glow and mahogany edges.
Nose
Brandied plum anchors the nose, entwined with intense mocha and honeycomb sweetness. Caramel snaps mingle with molasses tart, while rich cocoa lingers, hinting at a decadently sherried, wood-driven depth.
Palate
Plum syrup, treacle and warmed heather honey lead into black cherries, mocha and brandied orchard fruits, with crystallised cinnamon and ginger.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish of dried plum and treacle, with mocha and black cherry lingering into warm cinnamon and ginger. Sherried sweetness coats the palate, honeyed oak softly fades, leaving a fruit-driven warmth and a final kiss of spice.
