Colour
Deep burnished amber with mahogany undertones and coppery glints.
Nose
Opulent sherry on the nose: dried fruits—raisin, fig, date—with hints of plum and red cherry. Warming spices—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—layer over toasted oak and dark cocoa, yielding a rich, velvety, malt-forward aroma.
Palate
Full-bodied and slightly oily, the palate delivers sherry-soaked dried fruits—prune, fig, raisin—woven with dark chocolate, toffee and molasses. Warming spices rise: cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, mantled by robust malt and deep, cedar-toned oak. At cask strength, it remains plush yet decisive, finishing long with bittersweet fruit, spice and a warming, oaken glow.
Finish
An enduring finish of sherried warmth, with rich dried fruit—dates, figs, raisins—lingering alongside warming spice and deep oak. The tail remains velvety, chocolate-tinged, slowly fading to toasted oak and a hint of caramel.
