This multi-award-winning Speyside whisky is bottled at natural cask strength to deliver maximum depth of flavour. Each small batch is expertly crafted by our Master Distiller, Billy Walker, whose passion for perfection drives every release to surpass the last.

Matured in a rich combination of Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso, red wine and virgin oak casks, this whisky reveals a deep chestnut colour, an invitingly vibrant nose, and a bold, full-bodied palate. The result is a captivating dram that delights the senses from first sip to finish.

Nose

Invitingly vibrant, the nose unfurls with rich PX and Oloroso sherry, red-berry fruit and baked raisin. Notes of fig, cocoa, toasted almond, vanilla and caramel mingle with spice and virgin oak, hinting at a velvety, robust depth to come.

Palate

Sumptuously full-bodied, it delivers dark fruitcake notes of fig and raisin, cocoa, espresso and Christmas spice. Sherry depth from PX and Oloroso mingles with red-wine sweetness and toasted virgin oak, weaving a warming, long finish that coats the palate with velvety caramel and a whisper of oak smoke.

Finish

Long, luxurious finish at cask strength, built on sherry-sweetness from PX and Oloroso, with dried red fruits, dark chocolate and orange zest fading into velvety, oak-infused warmth. Spices—cinnamon and clove—linger as the alcohol carries a cocoa-tinted fade, leaving an inviting, enduring finale that rewards every sip.

(glen-AL-a-key) Built in 1967 near Aberlour, it spent much of its life producing whisky for blends rather than building a big name as a single malt in its own right. That changed in 2017, when Billy Walker, Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson bought the distillery and began reshaping it around a more flavour-led, hands-on vision.
