The GlenAllachie 12 Year Old has been aged in a combination of Pedro Ximénez, oloroso and virgin oak casks.
"‘sweet butterscotch notes on the nose, and a taste of honey, marzipan and bananas, plus further lashings of butterscotch."
Bottled at natural colour and without chill filtration with the bottle labels including the words ‘From the valley of the rocks’, a translation of GlenAllachie’s original Gaelic name Gleann Aileachaidh.

Natural golden amber with warm copper undertones and a sunlit honey glow.
Nose
Sweet butterscotch takes the lead on the nose, unfolding into honey, marzipan and banana notes. A plush sherry‑inflected sweetness mingles with gentle oak, delivering a refined, warm aromatic profile that speaks to the 12‑year‑old GlenAllachie’s cask‑driven heart.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied with rich butterscotch and honey leading the palate. Marzipan and banana notes unfold alongside creamy oak, carried by Pedro Ximénez and oloroso influence. A warm, lingering finish of praline sweetness and gentle spice.
Finish
Long, sumptuous finish: velvety butterscotch and honey drift on the tongue, mellowed by rich oak and sherry sweetness. Notes of marzipan and dried fruit linger, with a gentle spice kiss that keeps the palate beckoning for more.
