Colour

Deep amber, leaning toward rich mahogany with coppery highlights and a warm, sunlit glow.

Nose

Aromas of rich dried fruit—prune, fig, raisin—rise with baking spices (clove, cinnamon, nutmeg) and a resinous, deep oak sweetness. Hints of almond and dark chocolate weave through, while the Oloroso influence adds a warm, sherry note that coats the nose with elegant intensity.

Palate

Concentrated and full-bodied, the palate carries rich Oloroso sweetness through GlenAllachie’s malt. Dried fig, prune and raisin mingle with warming spices—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—while almond, treacle and dark chocolate deepen the profile. Thick, oak-forward notes and a resinous sweetness linger, intensified by the Octave cask at a stately 53.8% ABV.

Finish

Long, polished finish, driven by rich Oloroso influence. Dried fruit, fig and raisin unfold into cinnamon and clove-spice, while dark oak and cocoa-sweetness linger. A warming, silky tail with a touch of nuttiness, fading to sweet-spiced velvet.
