Carefully crafted by Master Blender Billy Walker, who this year celebrates five decades in the whisky industry, this release is the epitome of the art of wood management.
A marriage of whisky from a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry puncheons, along with a small quantity of Virgin Oak and Rioja casks, the resulting liquid is bursting with indulgent notes of tangy orange, rich mocha and sweet spices. Presented at natural cask strength of 58.6% ABV, without chill-filtration and at natural colour to showcase the whisky in its purest form.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth and a coppery glow.
Nose
Mocha, nutmeg and walnut oil dominate the nose, unfolding into heather honey, sweet raisins and dried red berries for a luscious, warm bouquet.
Palate
Bold and opulent on the palate, with lashings of cinnamon spice, molasses and honeycomb, then ginger and dark chocolate. Rich sherry-derived sweetness sits beneath, vanishing into a warming, lingering finish touched by spice and subtle oak.
Finish
An elegant, lingering finish of nutmeg and fennel, weaving a final thread of warm spice through a touch of sweetness and leaving a refined, aromatic memory.
