Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a mahogany edge, a warm golden glow.
Nose
Rich crème brûlée caramel and vanilla lead, supported by stewed plum and raisin notes. Deep malt, oak and a touch of spice emerge, with whispers of chocolate and old sherry that promise a luxuriant, long-lasting aromatic finish.
Palate
Silky custard and crème brûlée sweetness coat the palate, opening to stewed orchard fruits framed by a robust malt backbone. At 56.5%, a warming, viscous texture carries toasted oak and dark spice, unfolding into a lush, full-bodied mouthfeel that lingers with caramel, dried fruit and a praline-tinged finish.
Finish
An extended, decadent finish of creme brulee and stewed fruits, with the malt lingering long and gently warming the palate.
