Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a warm copper-gold sheen.
Nose
Powerful, inviting nose of vanilla and toffee, layered with rich oaky spice from first-fill bourbon and virgin oak. Sherry cask influence brings dried-fruit depth—raisins, dark chocolate—alongside honeyed notes and a whisper of leather. A warm, poised aroma that hints at the whisky’s punchy, luxurious palate.
Palate
Full-bodied and viscous on the palate, this cask-strength Speyside coats with oaky spice and rich honey. Notes of fudge, vanilla, dark chocolate and raisin intertwine with dried fruit from sherry puncheons, delivering a long, warm, and slightly spicy finish.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with generous, spicy oak and a warm sherried backbone. Honeyed toffee, fudge and dark chocolate persist, entwined with raisin sweetness as the viscous texture coats the palate, slowly fading into vanilla-spice warmth.
