Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep natural amber with coppery highlights and a mahogany edge; a warm, sunlit golden-brown hue.
Nose
Opulent sherry nose: dark raisin and fig fruit layered with velvety toffee and heather honey. Cocoa nibs and vanilla drift through, with American oak adding spice and a caramel whisper. Subtle mineral notes lend poise to a robust, deeply aromatic profile.
Palate
Full-bodied and velvety, the palate unfolds rich PX and oloroso sweetness—toffee, brown sugar, and dried fig with raisin and a hint of dark chocolate. Oak spice and subtle heather warmth provide depth, yielding a refined, long finish where confection meets nutty oak.
Finish
An opulent, long finish where dark chocolate and fig-touched toffee deepen into vanilla and oak. Sherry richness lingers as a warm, velvety fade, with gentle spice and cocoa sweetness persisting on the palate.
