Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with golden hues and a coppery glow.
Nose
Graphite pencil shavings mingle with gingerbread spice, orange zest and dark molasses. Sherry sweetness wraps rich dried fruit—fig and raisin—with vanilla-tinged oak and a touch of almond, lending polished warmth and elegance. A festive, indulgent bouquet that hints at a long, contemplative finish.
Palate
Opulent and chewy, the palate delivers gingerbread spice: ginger, cinnamon, and clove, with dried fig and raisin. Sherry sweetness coats cocoa, toffee, and elegant oak, finishing long and warming, with a graphite-like pencil-lead edge that lingers alongside the spice.
Finish
Long, warming and richly spiced, gingerbread and sherry-touched dark fruit linger over toasted oak. A delicate graphite whisper, echoing the pencil-chewing motif, appears mid-length, fading into vanilla, cocoa and soft spice as the finish slowly dries.
