Nose

Creamy, light, toffee sweetness, quite nice, with some floral rose petal hints.

Palate

Round, creamy, with a little sweetness and some florality. Very nicely balanced.

Finished long and spicy.

Balblair
(bal-BLAIR) Balblair was founded in 1790 by John Ross at Edderton in the Northern Highlands, overlooking the Dornoch Firth. The distillery remained with the Ross family through much of the 19th century, before being rebuilt in 1894 closer to the railway while continuing to use water from the Allt Dearg burn. Later owners included Hiram Walker, and Inver House Distillers acquired Balblair in 1996.
