A limited edition bottling of this Sherry casked Isle of Arran bottled at 50% ABV released in 2007. 8 years in traditional casks and 9 months in Valdespino Fino Sherry casks.
A dry aperitif style malt and one for the real Fino/Manzanilla Sherry lovers and there are not that many of the dry Sherry cask finished malts out there.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Pale straw gold with a delicate sunlit amber edge.
Nose
Salty almonds with apricot jam and marzipan, touched by orange blossom honey. Floral and fragrant, it unfurls cedar and vanillin oak with coastal warmth.
Palate
Waxy orange, blanched almonds, salty marzipan, apricot glaze, dry spices and toasted oak.
Finish
Sugared almonds mingle with spiced orange curd, a saline edge lingering alongside ripe melon and dried apricot. The finish remains dry and waxy, lasting with refined persistence.
