This is IT, this is the Talisker to end all Talisker's. We don't think we've ever read a bad review about this Whisky from anyone, anywhere, with some people saying that sampling it is an emotional experience. This may quite possibly be one of the very best Whiskes to ever be bottled in the 20th century?
Bottled at a massive 62% ABV

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich, burnished amber with copper-gold highlights and a touch of mahogany
Nose
Briny sea air and piercing peat rise first, carried by a warm, sherry-soaked sweetness. Dried figs and raisins, orange zest, and a ribbon of dark chocolate mingle with iodine and cracked pepper. A coastal waxiness drapes the aroma as the 62% presence hints at depth and power, inviting another breath.
Palate
Powerful, full-bodied palate with an oily texture; sea-salt and peat smoke ride a tidal wave of warmth from 62% ABV. Briny notes mingle with cracked pepper, charred timber, and rich sherry, alongside dark chocolate and dried fruit. Long, warming finish leaves smoky maritime echoes and a final whisper of sweetness.
Finish
An immense maritime finish where peat smoke, sea salt and cracked pepper persist, wrapping the palate in a warm glow. It evolves into dark fruit and cocoa, ending with a long, dry, peppery echo that lingers like a sea-salted horizon.
