Colour

Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a hint of mahogany, rich and molten in the glass.

Nose

Sweet-cured kipper on the nose, joined by orange marmalade and a touch of wood ash, delivering a maritime, subtly smoky bouquet.

Palate

Full, velvety mouthfeel with sweet, sherried peat and roasted malt. Cocoa, stewed fruits and a touch of ginger unfold on the palate, giving a long, earthy finish defined by peat and spice.

Long, spicy, earthy finish with peat, cocoa powder, stewed fruits and a ginger sting.

Talisker
(TAL-iss-ker) Talisker was founded in 1830 by Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill in Carbost on the shores of Loch Harport, and it remains the oldest working distillery on the Isle of Skye. Its history includes a major stillhouse fire in 1960, after which the distillery was rebuilt with exact replicas of the original stills to preserve its character, and it now forms part of Diageo’s malt whisky portfolio.
