The Distillers Editions are an annual release of the finest single malts, double-matured in batches using individually prepared casks that have held a specially selected fortified wine, chosen to complement the characteristics of each mature whisky. The result is a range of sublime, deeply flavoured single malt whiskies, very much true to their origins, yet possessing a rich depth, complexity and nuance of flavour.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a tawny, ruby-tinged edge.
Nose
Briny sea spray and smoky peat mingle with sherry-kissed warmth, releasing dried orange zest, dark chocolate and caramel. Maritime pepper and mineral grip the senses, a sun-warmed Talisker coast in a glass.
Palate
Peat and sea-smoke entwine with a lush fortified-wine sweetness. Rich dark fruit, cocoa and orange rind ride a velvety spine, while peppery spice adds edge. The mid-palate delivers brine and ash, then a long, warming finish with citrus zest and lingering maritime smoke.
Finish
Long, maritime finish with Talisker’s signature smoke and sea salt fading into a subtle fortified-wine sweetness. Peat, black pepper and char linger like embers, while dried fruit and gentle spice drift through the palate, ending warm and quietly salty, with a lingering coastal glow.
