Spices—cinnamon, clove, white pepper—lace through oak and a waxy, perfumed malt. The 61.4% ABV adds a warming bite to the bouquet, hinting at the impressive intensity to come.

Palate

A fearless, full-bodied palate of honeyed citrus and orchard fruit is swept up in a blaze of spice—pepper, ginger and clove—carried by fierce cask-strength warmth. Sherried notes of raisin, fig and cocoa mingle with vanilla oak, delivering a waxy, oily mouthfeel. It finishes long and drying, with peppery spice lingering and a hint of almond.
