The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old forms part of Macallan's Sherry Oak Collection which features a series of single malt whiskies matured in hand-picked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez for richness and complexity. A full bodied palate of mature oak, ginger and raisin flavours is complimented by a light mahogany natural colour.

Colour
Light mahogany with a warm, amber-gold glow.
Nose
Rich sherry oak aromas rise from the glass: dried raisin and fig, sweet fruitcake notes, and praline mingle with mocha and caramel. Spices—ginger, cinnamon—float over toasted oak, with a mahogany halo and a whisper of orange zest. An elegant, antique bouquet hints at luxury and depth.
Palate
Opulent and full-bodied on the palate, mature oak underpinning ginger and raisin with a luxurious, antique mouthfeel. Rich fruitcake and praline unfold into mocha and nutty brittle notes, culminating in a long, refined finish.
Finish
A long, luxurious finish that glides through mahogany and spice, echoing raisin and fruitcake with every lingering sip. Rich sherry oak leaves a trace of toasted almond, dark chocolate and mocha, slowly fading to warm, elegant oak.
