Tasting Notes
Colour
Radiant amber-gold with coppery shimmer and a subtle ruby warmth, inviting and sun-kissed.
Nose
Delicate peat and coastal breeze mingle with vanilla sweetness, rye spice, and toasted oak. Red berry and plum from Bordeaux cask layers unfold with hints of cocoa and toffee, while subtle resin from Chinkapin oak adds a touch of warmth—an elegant, multi-layered aroma that promises depth and balance.
Palate
Delicately peated with a multi-layered malt base. Rye-spice warmth, creamy malt, and toasted Chinkapin oak converge with Bordeaux red wine cask influence, delivering red-fruit depth and a refined tannic grip. Light smoke lingers alongside custard-like sweetness, finishing balanced and subtly complex.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with a whisper of peat that fades into warm rye spice and toasted oak. Bordeaux red wine and Chinkapin oak casks layer in dark cherry, cocoa and a plush tannic sheen, leaving a refined coastal note and a lingering, balanced warmth.
