Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with mahogany undertones.
Nose
Aroma of dense peat smoke and sea spray, a maritime brine that clings to the glass. Mineral coastal notes give way to dark fruit, cocoa and leather, lightly guarded by sherry sweetness and a whisper of spice as it warms.
Palate
Silky and sumptuous, the palate opens with maritime smoke and a waxy, oceanic depth. Rich dried fruit—fig and raisin—coats with dark chocolate and toasted nuts as oak spices emerge. A velvety texture carries a peppery, lingering finish of ash, iodine, and refined peat.
Finish
Long, refined finish of peat smoke and sea air, carried on a cloak of sherry sweetness. Dried fruit and cocoa give way to citrus zest and warm spice, while leather and oak resin linger, leaving a coastal, contemplative warmth that slowly dissolves into ash and smoke.
