Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep golden amber with copper-gold highlights.

Nose

Tropical fruits mingle with walnut and delicate floral notes, creating an inviting, fragrant nose.

Palate

Orange and lime zest lead to red apple and dark honey, with a softly oily texture that coats the tongue and lingers in citrus-kissed warmth.

Finish

Spicy, peppery warmth blossoms into a long, citrus-kissed finish; orange zest and lime peel linger, mingling with a gentle spice that softly fades.

Jura
(isle-o’-JEW-ra) Jura was founded in 1810 by Archibald Campbell, Laird of Jura, and was originally known as Small Isles Distillery. The island’s name is widely traced to Old Norse for “deer island”, with red deer still far outnumbering the human residents. The distillery was officially licensed in 1831, later passed to James Ferguson & Sons, and closed in 1901 before remaining silent for more than six decades.
