Nose

Toasted oak, vanilla, cereal notes and lashings of buttery shortbread.

Palate

Intense coconut, almonds, marzipan and honeycomb. Mouth coating. Sweet viscosity and a definite spiciness. Brandy snaps and peanut brittle, drizzled with honey.

Jura
(isle-o’-JEW-ra) Jura was founded in 1810 by Archibald Campbell, Laird of Jura, and was originally known as Small Isles Distillery. The island’s name is widely traced to Old Norse for “deer island”, with red deer still far outnumbering the human residents. The distillery was officially licensed in 1831, later passed to James Ferguson & Sons, and closed in 1901 before remaining silent for more than six decades.
