A single cask Jura bottled by Mossburn for the Vintage Casks range, this 28 year old was distilled in 1993 and bottled in 2021 after long maturation in oak. Bottled at 48.2% ABV, the release was limited to 220 bottles.
Extended oak maturation brings depth and refined wood influence to Jura’s island style, complementing the distillery’s naturally smooth, lightly maritime and gently fruity character in a long-aged single cask release.

Colour
Deep amber with burnished copper glints and a warm honey-gold core.
Nose
Coastal brine and sea-spray mingle with refined oak in a softly maritime bouquet. Vanilla and toasted wood underpin subtle sherry sweetness, framing gently fruity notes of orchard fruit and citrus, all carried by a quiet, luxurious depth from extended aging.
Palate
Silky and refined, the palate carries a generous oak backbone with maritime whispers. Ripe orchard fruits mingle with citrus zest, toffee and vanilla, while a subtle spice and bracing tannins give structure. The finish is long, breezy and lightly saline, echoing Jura’s island character.
