Port Charlotte Elements Of Islay Pl 5 Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Out of stock
A fabulously smokey independent bottling of Port Charlotte (peated Bruichladdich) as part of the Elements of Islay range. Savoury, ashy, salty and smokey aromas all crash in at the start of this one. The palate has a little more restraint with a burst of citrus and vanilla followed by woody spice from obvious bourbon cask maturation, (Hohshead and First Fill.) Quite dense and complex smoke, ash and tobacco come through on the end of the palate. The finish is rather subtle with lots more woody spice, a herbal element and more lingering peaty goodness.
