Colour
Natural golden amber with a warm copper glow.
Nose
Bold peat smoke carries medicinal iodine, sea-salt brine and coastal ash. A whisper of vanilla and citrus threads through the maritime warmth, revealing a layered, Islay-forward aroma that speaks of rugged shoreline and enduring character.
Palate
Peat smoke sweeps the palate, with medicinal iodine and a saline, coastal tang. Rich dark fruit and cocoa mingle with toasted oak, while peppery spice from the high ABV waltzes across the tongue. An oily, full-bodied mouthfeel coats the senses, finishing long with ash, mineral brine, and enduring peat.
Finish
Long, maritime peat coats the finish, with iodine and sea salt underpinning a subtle sherry sweetness. Dark fruit, cocoa and spice mingle as smoke eases into a warm, resinous tail, leaving a persistent, peppery finish that lingers with Islay character.
