Deep, honeyed amber with coppery highlights and a dusky mahogany edge.

Nose

Bonfire smoke and medicinal peat mingle with treacle, lifted by warm baked bread.

Iodine and lemon curd mingle with a well-fired crust, kept in line by ashy smoke and a subtle herbal note.

Finish

Long, almost dry and smouldering, the finish coats the palate with peat and coastal iodine, lingering as Laphroaig’s uncompromising Islay character.
