Bold peat smoke and medicinal iodine lead a marine breeze of sea-salt. Citrus zest and vanilla glimmer through the smoke, while toasted oak and a whisper of ash deepen the nose. A clean, coastal aroma with the classic Laphroaig’s smoky, medicinal backbone.
Palate
Oily and full on the palate, with bold peat and medicinal iodine driving a sea-salt brine undercurrent. Tart citrus zest and vanilla sweetness weave through toasted barley and a touch of ash, finishing with peppery spice and a lingering smoky warmth.
Finish
An enduring coastal smoke lingers, carrying iodine and sea-salt with a gentle peat warmth that stays long after the sip. Subtle sherry sweetness threads through, leaving vanilla-tinged oak and a final ribbon of smoky pepper as it slowly fades.
