Tasting Notes
Nose
Sooty five spice, boggy-earthy-iodine peat, chilli flake on seaweed, caramelised onions and curry powder fried together. An almost meaty, tar or hemp like note.
Palate
Malty, sweet peat with briney honey, chilli flake heat, white pepper on seaweed, more iodine, smoked ribs on a coastal bbq, five spice, smoked toffee and sooty aniseed.
Finish
Salty iodine, chilli flake and vanilla, earthy yet sweet, fish oils, black liquorice and lingering peat smoke.
