Nose
Peat-driven and maritime, the nose releases iodine-laced smoke, sea-salt air and ash, shimmered by warm vanilla-bourbon sweetness. Toasted oak, almond notes and subtle citrus zest converge with a medicinal bite, embodying Islay’s rugged, wind-swept character.
Palate
Oil-rich and full-bodied, it delivers coastal peat, sea-salt brine, and iodine, tempered by vanilla-caramel from the refill bourbon cask. Toasty oak and pepper weave through the mid-palate, culminating in a long, warming finish of smoke, marine tang, and citrus zest.
Finish
Long, maritime finish: bold peat and iodine drift into bourbon vanilla and caramel, leaving a salty, smoky memory. A peppery warmth lingers as the sea air fades.
