Tasting Notes
Colour
Warm golden amber with sunlit copper highlights.
Nose
Coastal peat smoke, iodine and sea-salt rise from the glass, edged by medicinal notes and a vanilla-caramel sweetness from refill bourbon. Briny, windswept Islay aromas mingle with tar and ash, delivering a bold maritime profile.
Palate
Full-bodied, coastal peat floods the palate with medicinal, iodine-laden brine. Vanilla and toffee from the refill bourbon weave warmth through the smoke, while black pepper and citrus lift the finish. A waxy, oily mouthfeel coats the tongue, delivering a long, salted-ash finale touched by oak.
Finish
Long, maritime finish of peat smoke and sea-salt brine, with iodine and mineral notes. Vanilla from the refill bourbon lingers softly, giving a warm, peppery fade that tapers to a saline, cocoa-dusted echo.
