Only 210 bottles were produced from a single first-fill bourbon barrel of Laphroaig Single Malt Scotch Whisky, which was aged for more than 27 years. Distilled at Laphroaig, this bottling shows both the classic sweet and salty nature and the wonderfully phenolic smoke typical of this whisky.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Chargrilled mango skins and toasted banana with waves of dusty coal smoke explode out of the glass. A wonderful rich heady note of melted dark chocolate builds with just a hint of fresh mint leaves giving an indication of age.
Palate
An initial tropical sweetness plays on the tongue with flavours of passion fruit and baked mango which are complimented by a dusty, dark smoke and notes of cola and ginger. The peat evolves into rich tobacco and cherry jam.
Finish
Flavours of dried passion fruit and lime linger and develop with the sooty smoke softening while eucalyptus and mint remain.
