Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and mahogany edges.
Nose
Peat smoke, coastal iodine and sea-salt rise from the glass, tempered by vanilla sweetness. Medicinal notes linger, while sherry-driven fruit and cocoa weave through oak, leather and spice. A refined maritime perfume that speaks of decades of quiet maturity.
Palate
Bold, coastal peat drives the palate with medicinal iodine and briny smoke, smoothly enrobed in a luxurious, full-bodied texture. Dark fruit, cocoa and a touch of toffee emerge from the oak, with sherry-like warmth and spice—cinnamon, clove, black pepper. The finish is long and smoky, leaving ember-sweet tannins, sea salt, and a faint coastal mineral lift.
Finish
An enduring blaze of peat and sea-salt, with iodine and medicinal notes lingering on a warm coastal smoke. Over time, vanilla, oak spice and hints of dried fruit emerge, leaving a long, refined finish that softens to an ember-like glow.
