Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep mahogany-amber with coppery highlights and a bronze glow.
Nose
A vibrant mix of spice and dried fruit, lifted by a distinctive orange zest. The nose hints at sherry-seasoned oak and the quiet breadth of 38 years, with an undercurrent of refined sweetness and depth.
Palate
Dried apricots and sultanas unfold into salted caramel creaminess, while crystallised ginger keeps a peppery, spicy edge on the palate.
Finish
A long, mouth-watering finish where Laphroaig’s signature peat smoke returns, caressing salted caramel sweetness and dried-fruit warmth, with a subtle coastal edge lingering into the afterglow.
