The exceptional character of this expression intertwined with Laphroaig’s signature flavours makes it truly one to savour. With spirit aged in ex-Bourbon casks, carefully matured for 25 years, this non-chill filtered Malt is a subtle and elegant Whisky featuring notes of sweet vanilla, oak and signature Islay peat smoke.
Sweet and floral aromas with honey and pear drop. Bubble-gum and strong thyme fragrance linger on the nose. Pot-pourri and geranium with light carnation, white pepper, fresh peat and Islay seaweed with a hint of lemon complete this complex aroma. Sweet, herbal and medicinal flavours come to the fore with notes of heather honey and light wood smoke, lime, salt, iodine and black pepper marinade with spices. Also carnation, clementine zest and medicinal notes.
The finish is dry with notes of spring flowers and a hint of sea salt.

On the palate, sweet vanilla and oak frame the Islay peat with refined coastal smoke. Heather honey and pear mingle with lime, clementine zest and herbal notes of thyme and carnation, while salt, iodine and a peppery spice thread through a medicinal, marine finish with light wood smoke.
Finish
Dry and refined, the finish unfolds with delicate spring flowers, leaving a whisper of sea salt that lingers like a briny breeze.
